1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Bawden Business Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 13 660 185 491), trading as Neutral Authority Method, handles personal information collected through the Neutral Authority Method website, digital products and related communications.
Contact: hello@neutralauthoritymethod.com
We aim to handle personal information responsibly and transparently.
Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles apply to our activities, we will handle personal information in accordance with those requirements.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with Neutral Authority Method, we may collect information including:
- your name;
- email address;
- information associated with a request for the Free Guide;
- your marketing communication preferences and consent records;
- unsubscribe or suppression information;
- information you provide when contacting us;
- information relating to a purchase, such as transaction identifiers, customer identifiers, product purchased, price, currency and purchase status;
- information required to provide or restore access to a purchased digital product;
- technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser, device and basic server or security logs; and
- records reasonably required for customer service, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, security or legal purposes.
We do not receive or store complete payment-card details for purchases processed through Paddle.
3. How We Collect Information
We may collect personal information:
- directly from you when you request a guide or contact us;
- when you purchase a product;
- when you choose to subscribe to marketing communications;
- when you unsubscribe;
- automatically through the operation and security of the website; and
- from service providers involved in processing a transaction or providing the website and related services.
4. Free Guide
If you request 7 Emails I Would Write Differently Now, we use the email address you provide to deliver the guide and administer that request.
Receiving the Free Guide does not require you to consent to ongoing marketing communications.
If you separately choose to receive Neutral Authority Method marketing emails, we will record that preference and may use your email address to send those communications.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
5. Marketing Communications
We send marketing communications where we have an appropriate basis to do so, including where you have expressly chosen to receive them.
Where express consent is collected through the website, we may retain information about when, where and how that consent was provided.
Marketing emails identify Neutral Authority Method as the sender and include an unsubscribe mechanism.
If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we can respect your request and avoid sending further marketing communications to that address.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-marketing communications reasonably required to complete a transaction, deliver something you requested, respond to you, or administer a purchase.
6. Purchases and Paddle
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through its service.
Payment information is entered through Paddle's payment environment.
Neutral Authority Method does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Information received by Neutral Authority Method in connection with a purchase may include:
- transaction ID;
- Paddle customer ID;
- email address;
- product and price identifiers;
- currency;
- amount;
- items purchased; and
- transaction or fulfilment status.
Paddle handles information in accordance with its own privacy and legal obligations.
7. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide a guide or resource you requested;
- process and administer purchases;
- deliver purchased digital products;
- provide customer support;
- respond to enquiries;
- process refund or access requests;
- send marketing communications where permitted;
- manage unsubscribe and suppression requests;
- operate, maintain and secure the website;
- prevent fraud or misuse;
- maintain appropriate business, transaction, accounting and tax records;
- comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal rights where reasonably necessary.
We do not sell personal information.
8. Service Providers
We use third-party technology and service providers to operate Neutral Authority.
Depending on the service being used, these may include:
- Lovable, website hosting, deployment and email infrastructure;
- Cloudflare, website delivery and edge infrastructure;
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud, database, authentication and storage infrastructure;
- Paddle, payment processing and Merchant of Record services;
- email infrastructure used to deliver requested and permitted communications;
- Google, currently used for certain website, search and technical services; and
- domain and DNS infrastructure providers.
These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent service providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
The list of providers may change as our technology changes.
9. Overseas Processing
Some service providers used by Neutral Authority Method operate or process information outside Australia.
Based on our current technical infrastructure, personal information may be processed or stored in locations including:
- Japan, where our current Supabase-managed database infrastructure appears to be located;
- the United Kingdom, European Union and United States in connection with payment and technology services; and
- other countries in which global infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare, Lovable and Google operate.
Because some providers use global infrastructure, it may not always be practicable to identify every location in which technical processing occurs.
We take reasonable steps appropriate to our circumstances when selecting and using service providers that handle personal information.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information.
Current measures include restricted database access, role-based access controls, Row-Level Security on relevant database tables, protected service credentials and verification of payment webhooks.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or where retention is required or appropriate for legal, accounting, tax, transaction, fraud-prevention, dispute or security purposes.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Where information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete or de-identify it where appropriate.
Limited suppression information may be retained after an unsubscribe request so that we can continue to respect that request.
12. Access and Correction
You may contact us to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you.
Email: hello@neutralauthoritymethod.com
We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making a correction.
There may be circumstances in which access cannot be provided or information cannot be deleted, including where retention is required or permitted by law.
13. Deletion Requests
You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you.
We will consider the request having regard to the information involved and any legal, accounting, tax, transaction, security or other legitimate retention requirements.
Information held independently by a third-party provider, such as Paddle, may also be subject to that provider's own legal and retention obligations.
14. Cookies and similar technologies
Neutral Authority Method currently uses only cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are reasonably required for website operation, security, payment processing or functionality.
Third-party services such as Paddle may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services, including during checkout.
Neutral Authority Method does not currently use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising or session-replay tools.
We may change the technologies used on the website in future. If we introduce non-essential analytics or tracking that requires additional notice or consent, this policy and the website implementation will be updated accordingly.
15. Third-Party Links
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies and practices.
16. Children
Neutral Authority Method products and resources are intended for adults in professional and commercial contexts.
We do not knowingly design our services for or market them to children.
17. Privacy Questions and Complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how Neutral Authority Method has handled your personal information, contact:

Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the issue.
We will consider privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period.
Where applicable, you may also have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, technology or legal obligations change.
The current version will be published on this website with its latest revision date.
